Week 8

Found this week again very interesting with great possibilities for use in the library. Again my main focus is on book clubs and I'm sure they would find this very handy in accessing information

Week 7

I guess I know what I'm doing although not 100% sure and I know that without my friend Kyle I could never have arrived at this point. Am learning what these things are all about so that is something.
Found another useful tool for our library book clubs and cant wait for our next meeting where we will set up a blog and link it to librarything so we can interact with the other book groups in the library

Week 6

had a look at both youtube and google video and could see the benefits of both. When I typed in Mosman Library I got completely different hits but found youtube much clearer. Endless possibilities for these

Just love the concept of wikis within the library especially for the Book Clubs we have just started.Imagine being able to comment on the book as you read and to be able to share with our book group members.

Week 4

Didnt really find the instructions for RSS that helpful but with a llittle help from my friend Kylie am now understanding it a lot more.Certainly very useful to know.
What do you like about RSS and newsreaders? I like the way you can keep up with what's going on without the hassell of looking for it

Feeling my way

Today I started my new journey learning to blog. Already I am finding this all fascinating and am looking forward to the process of learning web 2.0 every week. I am a baby boomer whom this all doesnt come naturally but am hopiing by the end of this it will be a hell of a lot clearer. Am very grateful to have the support of my work colleagues and would like to thank Kylie and Laura for their patience that I know they will need to see me through this. So on with the journey.........
